My client specialises in providing innovative SAAS Solutions within the ID management and screening industry, who are leaders within the field based on their cutting-edge technology and commitment to excellence for their customers. As such, they are looking for an experience SDR to join their growing team and deliver their continued growth moving forward.
You will be focusing on generating qualified leads, building relationships with potential customers, as well as nurturing them throughout the entire sales funnel, playing a critical role in driving new business growth and contributing to the overall success of the company.
Responsibilities
- Prospecting new leads: Identifying and researching potential customers within an assigned territory, and build target data lists and utilize various prospecting techniques (e.g. cold calling, email outreach, social media engagement and event attendance).
- Qualifying leads: Assessing the needs and challenges of potential customers in determining their fit for the products or services. Asking insightful questions and actively listening, along with gathering relevant information to determine their buying intent and budget.
- Scheduling qualified appointments: Leveraging communication skills to engage potential customers and book appointments for sales representatives.
- Developing and nurturing relationships: Building trust and rapport with qualified leads, through providing valuable information, acknowledging and addressing their concerns, as well as offering personalized solutions to them.
- Maintaining accurate records: Updating the CRM system with all relevant prospect information, as well as logging activity.
- Contributing to sales pipeline growth: Consistently meeting and exceeding individual and team goals for lead generation and qualification.
- Staying informed: Keeping up with industry trends, competitor analysis, as well as company updates to effectively communicate with prospects.
- Collaborating with the wider sales team: Working closely with account executives to ensure a smooth transition of qualified leads, as well as providing ongoing support throughout the sales cycle.
Requirements
- At least a year of sales experience as an SDR, BDR or similar.
- Have strong communication and interpersonal skills, having the ability to build rapport quickly.
- Proven ability to prospect effectively and generate qualified leads.
- Have proven experience in B2B SaaS sales.
- Possess a strong understanding of SaaS technology, along with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical based stakeholders.
- Have excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Can work independently and as part of a team.
- Be highly motivated and results oriented with a strong worth ethic.
- Proficiency in sales and CRM software, such as Hubspot and LinkedIn Sales Navigator.
- Be curious, always looking for continuous improvement, growth, and to give and receive feedback.
