Immediate need to add a Sales Engineer to the sales team.
The Role of the Sales Engineer
As a Sales Engineer your responsibility will be to support the external sales team and clients – electrical contractors, consulting engineers and end users – with technical enquiries and quotations.
This is a proactive internal sales position with a responsibility to follow up quotations with clients.
You will be providing technical support and quotations on a wide range of power protections products, including UPS, Generators, Emergency Lighting.
Flexible working with 2 days / week in the office and 3 days / week working from home.

The Ideal Person for the Sales Engineer
This is a role for a confident individual, willing to challenge the status quo and to challenge clients in terms of their requirements and why they need emergency power or power protection solutions.
You will be articulate, professional, and ambitious with some sales or commercial experience under your belt – possibly from engineering, design, project management, estimating, buying, and looking for a career in sales.
To be a trusted advisor for clients you will need to understand the range of products, therefore a good knowledge of electrical engineering is required – this could be academic or from time on the tools.
Wider engineering backgrounds will be considered if you have the right attitude, ambition, and commercial experience.
