Job Purpose:
To prospect and generate new business by selling all of the benefits of the Speedy Freight service to new customers in an enthusiastic, motivated and passionate manner.
The highly targeted role will assist and arrange new meeting bookings for the local Branch Sales Manager by being responsible for making out bound sales calls, updating CRM, generating new business leads and delivering a high service lead approach.
Main Responsibilities and Objectives:

* Prospect and generate own leads through an existing database of businesses/research and build a pipeline of potential new business utilising the company CRM.
* Work and develop an existing database of prospects to win new business.
* Call prospects by telephone to promote product/services. Make a minimum of 50 calls per day to new business prospects
* Update CRM system with accurate data and activity
* Discuss service offering with prospects to generate interest
* Close new business over the phone, generate the quote and win the business
* Accurately price customer requirements
* Work closely with a Branch Sales Manager to bring on new customers
* Schedule appointments for Branch Sales Manager to meet prospective customers.
* Constantly communicate with Branch Sales Manager to ensure KPI targets achieved and maintained as agreed with ISM.
* Prepare weekly figures to report
* Communicate effectively and professionally with all levels of staff and clients.
* Re-engage lapsed/lost customers to get them trading again.

* Liaise with Lead Generator, Business Development Manager, Branch Manager, Franchise Support Team, Directors, their direct reports and Employees at all levels within the Company, compliance to HSE legislation and Company objectives.

Qualifications:
Core
· IT Literate including Microsoft, word, excel and outlook.
· Written, oral English and Mathematics to GCSE standard

* Excel / PowerPoint presentations skills.
