Sales Ledger Clerk
Monday - Friday, 8am-5pm
Fully Office Based in London
£28k-£32k

Responsible for completion of Invoicing AWS reports and sales invoices for all clients, this part of the role will be overseen by the Sales Ledger manager. Working alongside the FC to assist in the producing the management accounts. Completing HMRC submissions. General account reconciliations on our finance system.

Main duties include, but not limited to:

  • Processing customer invoices and dealing with invoice queries, ensuring all sales invoices are emailed out, with correct PO numbers, updating invoices with PO’s when provided. - This will be managed by the Sales Ledger manager.
  • Processing sales invoices onto client portals where required.
  • Managing and reconciling invoice financing (RBS) account and ensuring cashflow is sufficient at all times - assisting the FC on this
  • Overseeing the dealing with client queries, sending out Monthly statements and completing any credit control required.
  • Credit checking new clients or raising proforma invoices for new clients.
  • Answering and filtering telephone calls
  • Responsible (holiday cover for Purchase Ledger Clerk) for monitoring Accounts mailbox - forwarding/dealing with all emails.
  • Reconciling all bank accounts
  • Providing cover for other team members within the department
  • Assisting Financial Controller
  • Processing all monthly jnls including prepayments and accruals
  • Review P&L to ensure jnls are posted correctly
  • Compiling monthly management reports for review at board level
  • Ensuring Filing CIS returns on a Monthly basis (in the absence of PLC)
  • Filing Vat returns on a Qtrly basis
  • Annual P11d’s

  • Xero Accounting Software
  • Accounting/double entry experience
  • Excellent eye for detail
