Our client is a leading media events business which prides itself on their fun, relaxed culture with lots of opportunities for progression through the business.

This is a fantastic opportunity to sell exhibition and sponsorship opportunities to clients within their most successful division.

The successful candidate will have 4 years + b2b sales experience, likely in a media sales or ideally within b2b sponsorship /exhibition sales.

You will be working with a number of existing clients but there will be a key emphasis to bring in new business too.

What you’ll do:

• Source and identify new companies that could be as a leading sponsor and possibility exhibitor
• Engage new companies by telephone and face to face to assess whether they are a good for the company
• Work within a team of senior sales executive to hit and exceed revenue targets
• Network with existing and prospective clients at events
• Lots of face to face meetings

What we’re looking for:

• At least 3 years sales experience in a B2B sales setting, ideally events.
• Ideally degree educated
• Hard working and committed with an excellent phone work ethic
• Pro-active, persuasive & confident
• An ability to understand client’s needs and adopt a tailored approach
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
