Our Client is a leading manufacturer of wood finishes and varnishes used for products for parquet, furniture, interior and exterior wood used by both professionals and consumers.
To accelerate their development in the UK market they are looking for a Sales Manager. The Sales Manager who will accelerate profitable sales growth with in United Kingdom and increase their penetration in to Builders Merchants, Paint Shops, Decorators and Independent Retailers.
Key Responsibilities of the Sales Manager:
- Acquire new customers and manage a portfolio of current customers
- Identify and develop new customer relations in line with business development plans/targets,
- Identify business opportunities and will work on resolving existing and/or potential challenges.
- Implement their commercial, sales and marketing strategy.
- Monitor sales against agreed targets and implement remedial actions where necessary.
- Co-operates with Technical Teams in educating customers on technical requirements of available product lines
- Promote company brand image and awareness,
- Monitor market intelligence: competitive positioning, new product trends, prices, market potential, market shares.
- Work in close cooperation with the distributors in the market, and pinpoints gaps, providing a sustainable solution.
- Report activities and sales plan execution
Sales Manager Profile:
- Paint or Coating experience
- Ability to adapt quickly the features and benefits of the available products/services.
- A hands-on mentality and proactive mindset.
- Application experience paint or wood products would be an asset.
- A valid driver’s license.
A salary up to the region of £50,000 + 15% bonus, and a company car.
