A leading business based in Wokingham is looking to recruit a Sales Project Specialist to join their friendly team. Ideally we are looking for candidates with a background within procurement, supply chain/ecommerce fulfilment or retail fulfilment.
Summary:
The Sales Project Specialist looks after orders for clients by handling quotations, sourcing, managing large sets of data, inventories, product specifications and SKUs, and coordinating complex logistics models. This role supports the sales team’s growth and is task oriented, fast-paced and for ever changing.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
The Sales Project Specialist is responsible for operating effectively on multiple professional levels.
- Sourcing of product(s) where required, and producing quotations
- The ability and confidence to talk to high level clients about products
- Preparation of presentation (PowerPoint) to be presented internally and direct to the client
- Assists in communication with clients about product offering, deliveries, placing orders and reorder points and timelines
- Create inventory and reports to internal and external stakeholders
- Managing order entry, processing and invoicing
- Utilising existing tools and spreadsheets to assist the AM and Team with evaluating production and schedule impacts arising from project changes
- Working with partners in Europe to obtain Complex logistic solutions
Education/Certifications/Experience:
- Procurement experience
- Sales support/Supply Chain
- 1 - 3 years of related experience within Sales Support

- Must be detail oriented, with strong organisational skills to manage a continuous workflow in a high volume, multi-tasking environment
- Strong work ethic that supports working independently, under minimal supervision

- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment with a dynamic range of people and cross-functional teams
- Ability to handle sensitive situations with tact and well-reasoned judgement

- Ability to deliver under deadlines with a high level of accuracy
- Excellent planning, time management, decision making, and presentation skills
- Strong understanding of business analysis, including the ability to officiate large and complex projects

- Ability to proactively seek out information, training and other resources needed to facilitate continual professional development necessary to be successful in this position
- Availability to work a standard 37.5 hour week, with hours on occasions with USA times
Computer Skills:
- Proven proficiency in Microsoft applications (Word, Excel. PowerPoint and Outlook)
- Excel knowledge essential: pivot tables, v-look ups and basic equations
- Working knowledge of ERP systems
