Sales Support Administrator
Location: Basingstoke - Office-based
Salary: Up to 30,000, depending on experience
We are actively seeking a dynamic and motivated Sales Support Administrator to join our client in Basingstoke. As a crucial member of the business, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the Account Manager and being the primary point of contact for customers. If you possess excellent organisational skills and have a passion for delivering exceptional customer service, we want to hear from you.
Job Role: In this position, you will provide essential technical, administrative, and commercial support both internally and externally. The role encompasses 80% administrative tasks and 20% sales responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities:
Technical Support:
- Liaise with engineers and customers to resolve technical issues.
- Find solutions to customer's technical questions and needs.
Admin/Order Processing:
- Process orders efficiently.
- Follow up with customers on deliveries, payments, etc.
- Handle basic logistics responsibilities such as receiving, picking, and packing shipments.
Commercial Inside Sales:
- Conduct non-cold calling sales activities.
- Monitor ongoing projects.
- Calculate and follow up on offers.
- Provide advice to customers.
- Maintain professional telephone contacts with clients.
Skills and Experience Required:
- Physically fit, as there may be an aspect of heavy lifting required.
- Analytical mindset.
- Highly organised.
- Excellent attention to detail and precision.
- Customer-oriented with strong interpersonal skills.
- Good IT skills.
