Our client are a leading manufacturing company who are going through an exciting period of growth which has created the need for a Dedicated internal Sales Support professional to join the team.
Key Responsibilities:
The Internal Sales Support role collaborates with the sales team, drawing, and production team to achieve the overall job purpose. While not exhaustive, the key responsibilities include:
- Generating and submitting quotes aligned with customer requirements and health and safety standards.
- Responding to customer inquiries via telephone, email, and post.
- Ensuring successful order placement by following up on quotes.
- Processing orders through to the production stage.
- Offering Sales Support to existing customers, including specification advice and literature preparation.
- Providing after-Sales Support, including drawings and specifications.
- Assisting the external sales team.
- Identifying and acquiring new customers.
- Data entry into the internal database/system.
- Researching new markets for company products.
Skills:
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
- Customer service proficiency.
- MS Office skills.
- Problem-solving abilities.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Desirable: Reading of technical drawings.
