We are now hiring a Sales/Business Development Lead (Recruitment) to join our London team.
We are seeking a confident, highly motivated, and entrepreneurial minded individuals to join our newly formed Sales/Business Development team.
As a member of the business development/sales team, you will play a pivotal role in identifying clients and cultivating relationships to secure new business, directly contributing to revenue growth and overall corporate expansion. Your responsibilities will encompass crafting and implementing a robust business development strategy to strengthen our presence in the Renewable Energy market and other designated target markets, spanning executive search, permanent, and contract business lines.
In addition to your core responsibilities, you'll also collaborate with recruitment managers to ensure seamless service delivery, as well as participate in marketing and event coordination efforts. This role reports to the Director.
Main Responsibilities
- Responsible for the identification and development of all new business and sales opportunities within target markets and verticals.
- Manage your own portfolio of clients and candidates, both existing and new.
- Build close partnerships with clients and help their business grow by developing and delivering the best solutions for attracting candidates.
- Develop opportunities with clients by maximizing, implementing, and maintaining a sound marketing strategy.
- Search, source, and screen potential candidates, utilizing multiple online resources.
- Manage the process from interview through offer stage.
- Conduct in-person interviews to thoroughly evaluate candidates.
- Be responsible for "hunting" new business opportunities and lead generation.
- Have an involvement in proposal process by developing and pitching proposals.
- Negotiate commercial terms of business and rates.
Skills & Competencies
- Previous experience within the Recruitment Industry in a Business Development / Sales function.
- Commercial acumen, including demonstrated experience in bids and tenders, proposals, and pricing formulation.
- Outgoing personality with a proven track record in building and developing client relationships.
- Strong organizational skills, smart and methodical, demonstrating ability to multitask and prioritize.
- Team player who can also take initiative and work in an autonomous fashion.
- Excellent communicator, articulate with strong external presentation skills (written & verbal).
- Leadership attributes, with a demonstrated motivation to build and manage teams /business units.
- A commitment to attracting and developing industry leading staff as the platform for future business growth.
- Hunting/Cold Calling experience.
- Prior Experience Marketing Professional Services.
- Prior Experience Selling Consulting Services.
