School Premises Manager, £35k-£40k - We are recruiting a School Premises Manager for a fantastic secondary school in Lambeth!
The School Premises Manager will manage the team responsible for the upkeep, care, maintenance, health and safety and facilities management of the school, with the direction and leadership of the Estates Manager. The School Premises Manager will also supervise the quality of work provided by contractors, including grounds maintenance and cleaning staff.
School Premises Manager Role:
- School with a beautiful site in Lambeth, London
- Salary £35,000-£40,000 per annum depending on experience
- 35 hours per week, 52 weeks per year
- School Premises Manager job start date: ASAP
- Interviews for the School Premises Manger role starting immediately!
- Lead a team of Premises Officers, including their recruitment, performance management and training inc. acquisition of skill levels regarding minor maintenance work.
- Supervise the work of premises staff and outside agencies on the premises and grounds. The role will include some third-party line management for ongoing contracts inc. an external cleaning contract and sports facility lettings.
- Take pride in ensuring the highest standards of Health & Safety so that the building and grounds comply with the highest level of security in regards to safeguarding.
The School Premises Manager will need to be an excellent communicator, have strong written and record-keeping skills, be physically fit and be able to respond to emergencies occurring outside normal working hours.
