A thriving education establishment have a new opening for a School Receptionist. The School Receptionist role involves providing administrative assistance to the wider team, meeting and greeting visitors, dealing with general enquiries and coordinating any visitors effectively.

School Receptionist responsibilities:
- Working within the reception area, acting as first point of contact for pupils, parents, staff and visitors
- Operating the main telephone switchboard system, including taking and delivering messages, transferring calls and contacting parents/other agencies as directed
- Managing the email inbox and responding to enquiries
- Maintaining the visitor system, ensuring all visitors and contractors are signed in correctly and can be identified by wearing required badges
- Coordinating the safe entrance and exit of all pupils, staff and visitors, ensuring they are signed in and out and that no unauthorised person gains access
- Completing data inputting and reporting as required
- Processing all incoming and outgoing post/parcels, assisting with franking and recorded deliveries
- Providing a general administrative service to staff including word processing, correspondence, reports, diaries and appointments
School Receptionist required skills:
- Enhanced DBS certificate
- Previous experience of working in an office environment desirable
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
