TimePlan Education are recruiting an SEN Teaching Assistant to join a wonderful Primary PMLD school in Ealing from April until the end of the academic year. Your role will be to support a small group of children in KS2 the morning and to lead interventions in KS1 in the afternoon. You will be working on a full-time basis with the opportunity of getting a permanent contract with the school after 3 terms.
The school is a four form-entry SEN school in Ealing which is known for its dynamic team and supportive SLT. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to develop in their role very quickly and they will receive continues training.
Job Responsibilities
- Comfortable supporting pupils with various Learning Difficulties and EAL.
- Ability to engage and support pupils.
- Assist with personal care if needed.
- Supervising pupils' behaviour.

Job Requirements
- Experience in supporting children or young adults with SEND is desirable but is not essential.
- Calm and empathetic.
- Good behaviour management.
- Valid DBS registered with the online update service or be willing to apply for a new one.
- Available 5 days a week and able to commit to at least 2-6 months.
