Salary: £38,000 - £42,000 per annum
We’re looking for a driven Security Analyst to join our Group IT Operations Security Services team to deliver an effective, proactive security function. You’ll be a trusted member of the team, ensuring that all day-to-day activities are carried out within a controlled and compliant framework.
This is a busy and diverse role in which you’ll delve into data backups, server & device patching, as well as antivirus deployment. You’ll also be managing, monitoring and alerting, along with incident response, vulnerability management, change control, and availability & performance management of the security management platforms. This is a highly rewarding role, supporting our large, complex business from a security perspective.

About You
- You’ll have in depth knowledge of security frameworks, such as ISO 27001, OWASP, CVSS, as well as MITRE Framework and Kill Chain Methodologies
- Be able to demonstrate good experience of Security platforms such as Microsoft Defender for Endpoint, Defender for Cloud Apps and Azure Entra ID.
- You’ll ideally have knowledge of Networking fundamentals and Firewalls like Palo Alto, and a sound knowledge of Cloud Computing, especially Microsoft Azure
- It’s desirable for you to have experience of maintaining policies and procedures, as well as experience of Security incident detection and SIEM tooling Azure Sentinel, incorporating threat management and automation
- It would be advantageous for you to have experience of Security automation tooling to improve security incident detection and response, as well as backup tooling such as Avamar, Commvault, Avepoint M365 Cloud Backup and Rubrik
- You’ll ideally have experience of DR replication tooling such as VMware SRM, Dell RecoverPoint, as we as with Lansweeper, WSUS and Azure ARC, and Microsoft MDM or MAM technologies
