SIRA - Security & Information Risk - 12 month contract - outside IR35
Are you a savvy Security and Information Risk Advisor (SIRA) with a knack for safeguarding sensitive data?
Our public sector client in Edinburgh is looking for an additional SIRA consultant to join their busy team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive risk assessments to identify potential security vulnerabilities.
- Develop robust strategies and solutions to mitigate security risks and safeguard sensitive information.
- Work closely with stakeholders to promote Information & Risk Services as well as ensure compliance with regulatory standards and best practices.
- Implement effective security measures to protect data integrity and confidentiality.
- Provide expert guidance and support on security-related matters to enhance organisational resilience.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in Security and Information Risk Analysis, ideally within the public sector or similar environment.
- In-depth knowledge of security frameworks, regulations, and compliance standards (e.g., ISO 27001, GDPR, etc.).
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess complex security challenges and propose practical solutions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with diverse stakeholders effectively.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM) would be preferred.
