SEMI-SENIOR ACCOUNTANT IN Nottingham, Nottinghamshire

Accountancy Elite are thrilled to be partnered with a fantastic Accountancy Practice based in Nottingham. This company serve a wide range of clients in the local and surrounding areas. Due to a period of continued growth this company is looking to expand their team.

The ideal candidate for this role would be someone who is AAT qualified and working towards their ACCA/ACA qualification OR someone who is nearing completion of their AAT. A minimum of 2 years' UK Accountancy Practice experience is required. Good knowledge of cloud-based accounting software such as Xero and QuickBooks would also be preferable.

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

• Preparation of Statutory Accounts for small and mid-sized companies.
• General Bookkeeping duties for clients.
• Preparation of Tax computations for above clients.
• Corporation and Personal Tax returns.
• Regular use of cloud-based accounting software such as Xero and QuickBooks.

Candidates Attributes:

• Minimum of 2 years' experience in UK Accountancy Practice.
• AAT qualified or late stage AAT and progressing with ACCA or ACA qualification.
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
• Experience with Xero/QuickBooks or similar cloud software packages.
