About the Role:

As an Accounts Semi-Senior, you will play an integral role in our team, handling a wide range of responsibilities to support our clients and directors. Your duties will encompass liaising with clients, managing workloads, adhering to quality procedures, and delivering best practice across all services. You will have the opportunity to develop your skills and knowledge base, learning all aspects of an accountancy practice and meeting expected requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop skills and knowledge base to cover all aspects of an accountancy practice.
• Produce reports, including full financial statements, management accounts and forecasts, adhering to agreed formats.
• Check associated work, review bookkeeping and payroll, and prepare required reports.
• Prepare accounts files, ensure checklists and schedules are included and cross-referenced.
• Adhere to Accounts Preparation work programmes and manage workload within agreed budgets and timescales.
• Attend site visits and meetings with managers and directors as required.

About You:

• GCSEs, A levels, and appropriate accountancy qualifications.
• Experience using Xero and QuickBooks.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Word and Excel.
• Ability to learn and adapt to new software, such as FreeAgent, CCH Practice Management, and others as necessary.
