Semi-Senior or Senior Accountant
We are actively recruiting for an exciting job opportunity with an accountancy firm in Nottingham, at either a Semi-Senior or Senior Accountant level. The salary is negotiable and will of course depend on experience and qualification level, so is open within reason.
Job Information:
This will be a hands-on position where you will be responsible for working on a varied client portfolio across statutory accounts, management accounts, tax, bookkeeping and VAT. You will have increasing responsibility and the opportunity to progress within your career and develop technically in this broad position. The firm made it clear that they will consider hires anywhere between Semi-Senior through to Senior Accountant / Client Manager level and the role can be designed to fit your experience and ambition.
Key Roles and Responsibilities:
Preparation of Year-end Accounts for Sole Traders, Partnerships and Limited Companies.
Corporation Tax computations and Company Tax returns.
Preparation of Self-Assessment Tax returns.
Review and Support the training and development of Juniors.
Audit
Candidates Attributes:
Strong experience with QuickBooks or similar cloud software packages. Any experience of Sage/Xero/free agent is useful, Excel experience is essential.
Previous experience of working in a UK accountancy practise is essential for this role. Minium experience of 3 years.
