Due to ongoing client growth, a new opportunity has arisen to join a good-quality independent Midlands accountancy firm focusing on accounts preparation work for a varied mix of clients ranging in size from smaller entities to larger multi-million £ turnover businesses. This is a part-time semi-senior level role suited to an individual with prior experience in an accountancy firm preparing year-end accounts.
Your new role
Working within a well-structured and supportive team, you will prepare statutory accounts for sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies using a range of accounting software, as well as preparing tax returns, management accounts and liaising with colleagues to oversee bookkeeping, VAT returns and payroll.
What you'll need to succeed
You will possess prior experience gained in practice preparing accounts and will ideally be at AAT part qual or qualified level or equivalent. Additionally, you will be confident using a range of accounting packages such as IRIS, Sage, Quickbooks, Xero etc.
