Job Description:
TimePlan Education is seeking committed and compassionate SEN Learning Support Assistants to join our team in Northampton. This fulfilling role involves supporting students aged 5 to 19 years old in a dedicated SEN school environment. We have positions available in schools located in Corby.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide tailored support to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in both one-on-one and group settings.
- Assist teachers in delivering personalized education plans (IEPs) and adapting classroom activities to meet the needs of SEN students.
- Foster a nurturing and inclusive environment that promotes the academic, social, and emotional development of each student.
- Support students with varying needs, including physical, emotional, and learning disabilities.
- Help with classroom management, preparation, and organisation to ensure a smooth and effective learning experience.
Requirements:
- Experience with Young People: Proven experience working with young people in any capacity.
- Experience Supporting SEN: Prior experience supporting SEN students is essential.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- DBS on Update Service: A valid DBS check registered on the update service is essential.
