Role Overview:
- Provide support to students with special educational needs, aiding their academic and personal development.
- Collaborate with teachers to implement tailored learning strategies, ensuring inclusivity and accessibility for all students.
- Foster a nurturing and encouraging environment, promoting confidence and independence among students with diverse needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with individualised learning plans, adapting teaching methods to suit varying abilities and learning styles.
- Facilitate classroom activities and interventions, promoting engagement and participation.
- Support students with daily tasks, including personal care and mobility assistance as required.
- Foster positive relationships with students, colleagues, and parents, promoting open communication and partnership.
Requirements:
- Previous experience working with students with special needs is essential.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to empathise and motivate.
- Patience, resilience, and a compassionate approach to supporting students' individual needs.
- Relevant qualifications or training in special educational needs would be advantageous.
