Here at Cobalt, we are working with a highly regarded real estate company focused on the European market. As part of their constant growth, they are looking for a Senior Accountant to join the Luxembourg office.
Responsibilities include: (Including but not limited to)
Manage property accounting tasks including rental income, review of service charge costs, preparation of VAT returns, and other accounting tasks.
Ensure the accurate recording in Lux GAAP and IFRS.
Support the asset management team with financial information and analysis.
Conduct intercompany reconciliations and prepare financial statements.
Assist with continuous improvement initiatives.
Liaise with 3rd party property managers and finance teams across Europe.
Requirements:
Professional qualification such as ACCA, ACA, or equivalent is an asset.
Several years of experience working in Real Estate or Property Accounting.
Strong knowledge of Lux GAAP and IFRS. Other GAAPs would be an advantage.
Experience working with Yardi would be considered a plus.
Fluency in English is required, other languages would be beneficial.
Be team-orientated, with experience in supervising and developing junior team members.
