Senior Accountant

Role: Senior Accountant / Client Manager
Location: Kent - Goudhurst, HYBRID available
Hours: 37.5hrs: Monday to Friday, 9am-5.30pm
Salary: From 40,000 dependant on experience

Brook Street are proud to be recruiting on behalf of a well-established and growing accountancy firm based in Kent. They are a forward thinking accountancy and wealth advisory practice, looking for a Client Manager to join their expanding team.
Responsibilities include:
- Managing a portfolio of clients, helping with their reporting, business and tax planning.
- Reviewing financial statements, prepared under FRS 102 and IFRS.
- Review corporate tax returns.
- Review VAT returns.
- Supporting clients with management reporting and adhoc queries, managing compliance and reporting processes.
- Assisting with training and support of junior team members.
Position Requirements:
- ACA or ACCA qualified with at least 5 years experience managing a portfolio of corporate clients.
- Confident in all aspects of accounts and corporate tax complains and up to date with accounting and tax standards.
- Have strong IT skills - MS Office (Excel), Sage, Xero
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
- Ability to prioritise, work with your own initiative and meet deadlines.
This role needs the candidate to be a driver and have access to a car due to the rural location of the office. This role is hybrid to include both working from home and presence in their Kent office in Goudhurst.
