SalaryA multi-site business based on the North Kent/South-East London border are looking for a Senior Finance Assistant to join them in a new role for the business. This role offers hybrid working with 2 days a week working in their modern offices. Reporting to the Finance Manager and working in an experienced finance team the Senior Finance Assistant will:
Duties of the Senior Finance Assistant:
- Work alongside the Finance Manager in producing monthly management accounts this includes overseeing month-end duties up to trail balance, variance analysis, and assist with budgeting and forecasting.
- Complete balance sheet reconciliations
- Mentor 1 member of staff (Accounts Assistant)
- Prepare VAT returns
Requirements of the Senior Finance Assistant role:
- AAT Qualified or CIMA/ACCA Part Qualified
- Prior experience in budgeting and forecasting, balance sheet reconciliations and variance analysis
- Good MS Excel skills including look-ups and pivot tables
