Responsibilities:
- Managing a portfolio of clients
- Preparation and submission of year-end accounts to HMRC and Companies house for sole traders, limited companies and partnerships
- Preparation and submission of corporation tax computations
- Preparation and submission of quarterly VAT Returns
- Preparation and submission of confirmation statements
- Competing Client Payroll; weekly, monthly, and yearly
- Reconcile client accounting records via Excel or accounting software.
- Preparation and submission of monthly CIS returns
- Managing and mentoring junior members of the team
Skills and experience required:
- Qualified Accountant
- Experience working in General Practice
- Experience mentoring Junior team members.
- Competent using Xero, Sage and Quickbooks
- Professional and friendly manner with clients
- Strong attention to detail
