Our public sector client based in Gateshead, has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Administrator to join their team as soon as possible.
The role will be temporary and is estimated to last until the end of May 2024 initially however, this may be extended depending upon the needs of the business.
The hours of work will be 9:00am-5:00pm Monday to Friday with a pay rate of 13.02 per hour.
Working within the Special Education Needs and Disabilities Team, duties of the role will include:-
Provide clerical and administrative support to services within Education, Schools and Inclusion team
Dealing with enquiries in a timely and professional manner to ensure a high level of customer service to service users, members of the public and external organisations via telephone, letter, email and in person
Maintain and update manual and computerised information systems, ensuring information use by the service is accurate
Coordinate responses to Freedom of Information and subject access requests in a timely manner
Undertake general financial administration duties including budget monitoring, processing of invoices and other areas as required
Attend and contribute to service and team meetings, recording proceedings where necessary
Produce accurate minutes and reports, as and when required
In order to be considered for the role it is essential that you have previous office administration experience, along with 5 GCSE's Grades A-C and can provide proof of certificates. An NVQ Level 3 in Business Administration would also be an advantage.
