Senior Ai Product Lead

We are looking for a Senior AI Product Lead to join British Airways on an initial 3 month contract plus extensions. This will be working 2-3 days onsite per week in Westminster, London.

Job Summary: As the Senior Product Lead at IAG.ai Centre of Excellence you will be a key driver in our product strategy (re-use across Operating Companies), responsible for managing and guiding a team of AI Product Leads who, in turn, lead product teams. We have identified and are accelerating initiatives where we are scaling new teams rapidly, and product/agile understanding and deep experience is mandatory.

You should also have a deep understanding of AI (inc new developments with GenAI) and within the Airline or travel industry.

Your role will involve aligning product initiatives with overall business objectives, fostering collaboration across teams, and ensuring the successful execution of product development processes. You will lead the maturity of the product organisation within IAG.ai.

IAG.ai is a new function within IAG, and requires someone who is comfortable in both a 'start up' culture and a FTSE100 organisation, at a fast pace, and comfortable with ambiguity, and leading through pivot/persevere environment to identify and deliver value

Experience

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Computer Science, Product Management, or a related field.
• Proven experience in product management, with a focus on leading and managing cross-functional teams.
• Strong leadership and people management skills.
• Excellent strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
• Demonstrated success in delivering innovative and successful products to market.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills.
• Deep experience in agile development methodologies.
• Senior experience in the AI field, including GenAI (NLP, Data science, Computer Vision, Sentiment analysis, Retrieval Augmented Generation, Classification etc )
• Experience in the Aviation or travel industry (covering areas like Operations, Engineering, Customer and Commercial)
