The current opportunity arises within the Digital Product team, based at our London Head Office. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring our commercial client and Property Search products are delivering the maximum business value and meeting our client needs. You will work closely with the Product managers to define roadmap items and to create a detailed Product backlog and user acceptance criteria.
The ideal candidate for this role should possess a wide range of skills and attributes. You will need the ability to elicit, capture, analyse, and synthesize business requirements, with a keen eye for recognizing patterns and understanding complex processes. Additionally, a customer and user-centric approach is paramount. You will be responsible for ensuring that any relevant business processes are kept up to date and are accessible to the wider team.
Responsibilities
Your Responsibilities will include:
• Work with the agile commercial scrum team to identify product enhancements that meet the customer needs and drive business value.
• Engage with stakeholders to understand the business requirements of the product and communicate these to the product team to help shape the product roadmap.
• Support the Product Manager with the creation and management of the Product backlog, help create detailed user stories, organise user stories into Features and ensure through regular refinement that the backlog is in tip top shape.
• Use data-driven improvement approaches (eg. DMAIC - Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve and Control)
• Ensure all relevant business processes are kept up to date and can be easily shared with the rest of the team to drive efficient sprint delivery.
• Support the Product Manager with roadmap prioritisation and idea creation through workshops.
• Lead requirements workshops, user story reviews and process / solution walkthroughs
• Help us to understand our customers better by Interacting with front line staff with confidence, building rapport quickly and fostering trust.
• Comfortably interact with senior stakeholders, concisely sharing findings and overview of changes and benefits
• Participate in all scrum ceremonies including planning, refinement, stand-ups, review and retro.
Experience required
The ideal candidate will have experience of:
• An excellent understanding of agile methodologies and working within a fast-paced multi skilled agile scrum team.
• A confident, articulate self-starter who has 5+ years proven experience in business analysis and process/system redesign.
• Proven ability to quickly learn about a business area, it’s processes and its business imperatives and then apply this knowledge to project definition and delivery.
• Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, Outlook, Word, Excel, Visio and PowerPoint.
The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate the capability to:
• Ideally hold relevant Business Analysis qualifications, such as: APMP International - BA, Agile BA Practitioner, BCS Certificate in Business Analysis / Modelling Business Processes / Requirements Engineering etc.
• Six Sigma or Lean (Green or Black belt) accreditation would be beneficial but is not essential.
• Experience of other project disciplines (Testing etc) is always beneficial but again not essential.
• 5 years+ in a Business Analyst / Senior Business Analyst role
• Experience of working on B2C products/ projects
• Experience of working with both Agile and Waterfall models
