Senior Business Development Executive Financial Markets

I'm working with a top 20 law firm based in central London in their search a Senior Business Development Executive. This Senior Executive provides support on day-to-day and strategic marketing and Business Development activity for the global Financial Markets sector.

This role includes business planning and tracking, budgeting, pitches, client targeting, digital marketing, and events. Additionally, you will assume client relationship management opportunities. To achieve the team's business plans and support firm-wide initiatives, they develop a strong understanding of the sector.

There are great opportunities for career development exist across the Business Development function, with close co-operation and team-working alongside other central Marketing and Business Development functions, both in London and internationally.

Key Responsibilities

• You will be business planning and budget management alongside reporting monthly marketing spend against budget.
• You will be responsible for supporting key elements of the FI sector's business plan.
• You will be preparing regular sector management reports while assisting the FI sector lead in preparing updates.
• Manage and lead on a key client. This will include organising and co-ordinating a global team, identifying and responding to opportunities, as well as business planning and reporting.
• You will support the production of strategically significant sector, firm-wide and panel pitches, capability and credential statements.
• You will help manage key client events (seminars, webinars, client social events, roundtable dinners, conferences, etc), as well as support the BD sessions of some internal group/sector events.

About You

• Experience of working in a financial institutions practice or sector role, ideally within the professional services market or equivalent experience in a client development/account management Business Development role is highly desirable.
• You will be able to demonstrate being pro-active and delivering high quality work.
• You will need to prioritise projects and respond quickly to requests which have a short turnaround time.
