Carter Murray have partnered with an international law firm who are looking for a Business Development Executive to be sat in their Disputes team.
Building strong relationships with the partners and fee earners across the global disputes practice in London, you will become a trusted advisor for the sector, contributing to the Business Development objectives for the firm and raising their profile.
Responsibilities
- Ensure active contribution and delivery against the Business Development objectives and plans in line with the firm's strategic priorities
- Develop presentations and client focussed documents that provide high level overview of practice/sector expertise for client meetings and international business trips
- Liaise with BD colleagues across the global network on both drafting and inputting into matter-specific and significant practice and firm-wide pitches
- Support end-to-end directory and awards submissions process for the group to key publications and the media (e.g. Chambers, Legal 500 etc.)
- Project manage client events including planning, logistics, implementation and actively participate by meeting clients in liaison with the internal facilities team and the external events team
- Undertake research and analysis to identify targets for practice/sector and take responsibility for targeting initiatives
- Project manage the development of marketing collateral with the BD Managers, Partners, PSLs and design teams
- Liaise with the PR /communications team on media and PR opportunities for practice/ sector/ region
Skills & Experience
- 1-3 years experience in a marketing/BD role in a legal or corporate environment
- A background in dispute resolution in a law firm would be preferable
