- Manage financial tasks to support the day-to-day operations of the planning and building control services within CPT, including invoicing, transaction journaling, reconciliations, and reporting.
- Oversee programme management of Planning Performance Agreements, providing insightful analysis of resource allocation and expenditure.
- Support various projects essential for the Directorate's needs, including internal stakeholder workshops, procurement initiatives, and performance analysis.
- Facilitate the monthly Directorate Assurance Board meetings.
- Aid in the recruitment process for Planning and Building Control Services.
- Conduct research to support briefings and benchmarking exercises.
- Manage direct reports efficiently, ensuring all tasks are completed to a high standard.
- Strong mathematical and writing skills.
- Proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Basic knowledge of planning or other built environment services.
- Experience with back-office or simple bookkeeping tasks is advantageous.
- Ability to apply various methods to analyze data.
