You’ll play a key role in identifying improvements and implementing new processes to maximise efficiency. Our team supports robust quality assurance and governance for social work practice and outcomes, and develops guidance and procedures to support operational teams, prioritising effective social work supervision, reflective practice, and ensuring quality social work remains at the centre of practice.
We work closely with colleagues in Learning and Development, Policy and Strategic Safeguarding, as well as Heads of Service. This is a fantastic opportunity to expand your proven administrative skills within a team where your role contributes to improving the lives of people in our community.
Take a look at our Candidate Pack for more information about the role, team and our values. The section ‘About you’ explains what specific knowledge, skills and experience we want you to tell us about. Make sure you explain how you meet these requirements and demonstrate our values, in your application.
Along with a successful track record of providing excellent administrative support including producing high-quality reports, you’ll have experience of delivering a high standard of customer service and have strong IT skills across a range of applications. You'll be comfortable working with minimal supervision, organising and prioritising your own work and be able to anticipate and resolve potential issues. You'll use your strong interpersonal skills to confidently liaise with colleagues at all levels including senior management, adapting your communication style as needed. Your flexible approach will enable you to successfully collaborate with other teams who have differing priorities and focuses. As there are many strands to our work, you'll be confident in responding to changing priorities and demands to tight deadlines, and proactively plan for contingencies.
In return, we are committed to your continued professional development and offer an extensive Benefits Package. We recognise the benefits that hybrid working can bring, so you’ll be able to work remotely (with equipment provided), and your work base will be the closest office to your home address. You will be required to attend meetings in person within Hampshire on occasion.
