Your new company
An ambitious SME organisation providing procurement services to the food and hospitality sector. Due to growth in the business, they are now looking to recruit a Senior Buyer. The role will be remotely based with travel to the West Midlands office once per week. There will also be travel to suppliers and client sites.
Your new role
The Senior Buyer will be responsible for managing procurement of food within the hospitality sector. Key responsibilities will include building and managing relationships with suppliers, monitoring key trends and pricing, negotiation, sourcing, supply chain management and supplier performance, and RFP and supplier selection. The Senior Buyer will also review procurement processes and make recommendations for improvement.
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful, you will be a Senior Buyer with strong experience of the food and hospitality sector. You will be able to demonstrate success in sourcing, negotiation, supply chain management and supplier management. You will be well-organised, have strong communication skills and excellent communication skills.
