Senior Commercial and Contracts Officer
Salary: Grade C - £31,373 (National Framework) or £36,775 (London Framework – if you are London office-based or home-based and live within the boundary of the M25) – There is also an additional homeworking allowance of £553 per annum for those working from home
Contracted Hours: Full-time, 37 hours per week. We may consider compressed hours.
Contract Type: Permanent

What you will bring…
To be considered as a Senior Commercial and Contracts Officer, you will need:
- To be part-qualified or working towards a minimum of CIPS level 3 in procurement practices
- Experience of working in a Commercial and Contracts role
- Knowledge of UK and European Union procurement legislation
- Knowledge of the management issues and practices in public procurement
- Good communication and negotiation skills
- Effective people- and stakeholder management skills
What you’ll be doing
As a Senior Commercial and Contracts Officer, you will ensure we effectively procure the products and services we require and can deliver on our contracted services.
Overseeing a portfolio of procurement and contract services, you will ensure that savings are achieved by negotiating new or existing contract arrangements and providing services. You will ensure strong governance in procurement practice throughout the procurement lifecycle.
You will manage the day-to-day relationships with a range of external suppliers, ensuring we receive value for money and the best possible service. Acting as the expert for your portfolio, you will be the ‘go-to’ person for specific queries and support.
