The role
The Integrated Commissioning Division are looking to recruit a Senior Commissioning Manager to join the Live Well Health and Care Commissioning Team.
This is an exciting opportunity to take on a dynamic role in a new team, dedicated to tackling inequalities and improving outcomes for working age adults. No two days will be the same and you will have a huge opportunity to make a positive difference for Southwark residents.
The post-holder will provide strong leadership and strategic management in commissioning for health and care services by building working relationships and collaboration across the council, ICB, and the wider health and care system.
The post-holder will have responsibility for planning and commissioning an agreed portfolio with a specific focus on the community offer for adults with Mental Health needs working; leading integration across statutory, voluntary and community sector providers.
The post-holder will promote social inclusion through the effective commissioning of early intervention services and ensuring the effective use of services such as supported accommodation which promote people's independence and offer increased choice and control.
This is a key role in delivering a commissioning programme aligned to the shared objectives of two organisations: Southwark Council and South East London ICB. You will be joining an integrated team of commissioners providing visible leadership, evidence-based and relational commissioning, and promoting quality services.
