Senior Compliance Officer

We are working with an international banking group for their Senior Compliance Officer position in the London office. This position requires candidates to have experiences in both risk and compliance. Legal background will be a plus. 

Responsibilities: 

• provide expert guidance on interpreting and applying local and Group compliance policies and standards.
• conduct 2nd Line Testing on 1st Line of Defence functions.
• create memos for governance approval or review.
• assist with testing compliance-owned systems and methodologies

Requirements:  

• strong experiences in risk, compliance, regulatory compliance, financial crime within banking and the lending industries
• in-depth knowledge of applicable UK legislation, particularly FCA rules.
• a legal background/law degree will be a plus. 

The bank offers hybrid working and the opportunity for travel to other jurisdictions when required.
