Educated Appointments are delighted to be assisting an Apprenticeship provider based in Stratford, London to recruit an experienced Senior MIS & Compliance Officer.
The main focus of the role is to assist the Head of MIS and Compliance in their efforts to ensure that they are utilising public funding in a manner that adheres to the apprenticeship funding guidelines. It will be your duty to gather and maintain all necessary evidence to validate compliance.

Key Responsibilities
- Quality assure enrolment paperwork for apprentices and employers including contract for services, request for services, training plan and apprenticeship agreement.
- Create and maintain Individual Learner Records (ILRs) on PICS Web.
- Ensuring that any funding adjustments for prior learning (APL/RPL) are made to ensure value for money for public funds.
- Liaise with employers to set apprentices up on the Apprenticeship Service before starting their course to maximise revenue drawdown.
- Register and maintain learners for qualifications and end-point assessments.
- Process the submission of all change requests such as breaks in learning, withdrawals, cause for concerns and change in circumstances.
- Process the declaration of all learner achievements, maximising in-year QAR.
- Support data integrity & quality through the use of FIS, PDSAT and the FRMs to clean the data.
- Support data integrity of all DLOCKs, violations, errors and warnings
- Draft and finalise monthly ILR data submissions to the ESFA in the absence of the Head of MIS and Compliance.
- Support the Head of MIS and Compliance in undertaking internal audits to ensure there is a complete evidence pack in place for learners, in line with the apprenticeship funding rules.
- Support the Head of MIS and Compliance in undertaking financial forecasting of R0 submissions
- Support the Head of MIS and Compliance in undertaking the reconciliation of ESFA Apps Monthly Payment Reports.
- Maintenance of all IT systems including Onefile, PICS Web and providing support and guidance for colleagues in their effective use.
- Conducting monthly partner reconciliation of learner data (EPAOs, Partner Universities etc)
- Staying up to date on the latest funding rules and data requirements and disseminating this to colleagues where appropriate.
- Promote the Apprenticeships Accountability Framework within the organisation, discussing any quality or supplementary indicators with wider teams when necessary.
- Build adhoc reports on demand, aid users with data analysis and interrogation.
Skills, Knowledge and Experience Requirements
- Previous experience within apprenticeships.
- Experience of working with PICS.
- High levels of accuracy.
- Ability to meet targets and deadlines.
- Knowledge of the ILR maintenance and ESFA data collection requirements.
