As the company prepares for the retirement of its General Manager, Scott & Ewing is seeking to appoint a talented leader, initially to the role of Senior Contracts Manager. This individual will play a crucial role in driving the growth and expansion of the business while upholding Scott & Ewing’s excellent reputation in the building services industry.
The successful candidate will lead high-performing teams, fostering a culture of excellence while building and maintaining strong relationships with sub-contractors. You will oversee the project management and delivery of complex mechanical contracts, ensuring quality delivery, adherence to contractual terms and compliance with relevant regulations and standards in the mechanical engineering sector.
The role requires at least five years’ experience in a management or project oversight role gained within a mechanical services/ contracting business or within a professional advisory/consultancy environment, coupled with a track record of building high-performing teams and the capability to manage sub-contractor relationships. Your strong knowledge of tendering and procurement processes, market trends and the competitive environment, will help drive new opportunities and commercial success.
