This is an exciting time to join this business as they are undergoing a major digital transformation with the Credit Risk function at the core of it. You will be looking to tailor new products to interesting and specific customers in terms of their analytics.

THE COMPANY

This company is undergoing a mortgage proposition transformation where they are aiming to service an underserved segment of the market. They are looking to differentiate their company from usual mortgage lenders and create a unique name in the market.

THE ROLE

You will be doing the following daily:

• Develop and optimise collection, and recovery strategies for existing customers, aiming to improve outcomes, optimise earnings, and ensure fair treatment for customers.
• Review, improve and implement new policies into the decision systems to target new and specific customer sets.
• Discover and drive a deeper understanding of specific customers and their needs, specifically focusing on vulnerability and affordability.
• Promote behavioral insight and experimentation, exploring new contact strategies and technology.
• Take control of lend propositions while changing strategies and policies to attract new demographics.
• Building out affordability calculators.

YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

• Experience working in the Credit Risk space, ideally on lending products.
• Mortgage experience is ideal.
• Proficiency in SAS, SQL, or Python.
• IFRS9 knowledge is ideal.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong numerical degree from a Russel Group University.
