Job Description
You will ensure all trains are safely dispatched from stations under your control while providing an exceptional level of customer service to customers, staff and visitors. You will provide direct supervision to a team of customer service station staff (CSCs) in a station environment, ensuring they are carrying out their duties in line with training and rules/regulations with health and safety/customer service being top priority. You will sell tickets, check tickets and identify and prevent fare evasion within the network.
Essential Criteria
- Minimum of GCSE in English and Math's, at Grade C or above, or equivalent, or alternatively, be able to demonstrate at least 2 years relevant experience in a similar post.
- Minimum of 2 years¿ face to face experience in a customer service environment with experience of cash handling.
- Experience of supervising others or coordinating tasks in a customer service or operational working environment.
- Experience of dealing with difficult customer complaints and customer enquiries.
- Experience of adhering to Health & Safety rules.
- Experience in compiling/writing reports.
- Ability to work shifts including early, late, weekends and Public Holidays.
- Aged 18 or over (in order to obtain a Personal Track Safety Certificate).
- Possess a full current driving license with access to a vehicle.
