Job Description:
As a Senior Data Scientist focused on Generative AI, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and deploying advanced generative AI applications. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team of Data Scientists, engineers, and product managers to solve complex problems and deliver AI-powered products and services.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and build applications with state-of-the-art generative models, including GPT-4, Lamma 2, Mistral, and transformer-based architectures.
- Apply your engineering skills to write efficient, scalable, and clean code, primarily in Python, to build and refine machine learning models and data processing pipelines.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and identify opportunities where generative AI can provide value.
- Stay abreast of the latest advancements in AI and machine learning, particularly in the field of generative models, and propose innovative solutions to enhance our AI capabilities.
- Work with data science and engineering teams to ensure the scalability and efficiency of AI models, from data pre-processing to deployment, utilizing tools and technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud services for model hosting and scaling.
- Mentor junior Data Scientists and contribute to the team's knowledge sharing by leading workshops and seminars on generative AI technologies and engineering best practices.
Qualifications:
- Master's or PhD in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field, with a focus on AI/ML.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in data science or machine learning, with some experience with generative AI models.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python and libraries/frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, Keras, etc., with strong engineering skills to implement, optimize, and scale AI models and data processing workflows.
- Strong understanding of machine learning principles, deep learning, and statistical modeling.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
