Senior Energy Manager

NSB Recruitment have an exceptional opportunity for an experienced senior level Energy Manager to join this market leading energy and utilities consultancy.

Your role will be to drive excellence and innovation in the energy sector whilst working from Home!

Are you an experienced leader ready to spearhead a dynamic team of Energy Engineers and technical specialists? My client is a UK-based consulting firm, seeking an adept Energy Manager to lead an established team.

Location: UK Wide - Home Based

Team Management:

• Lead, develop, and motivate a team of Energy Engineers for high-quality service delivery.
• Create individual development plans, ensuring engagement and staff retention.

Service Delivery Management:

• Be accountable for efficient product delivery and ensure adherence to standards.
• Retain existing clients, support Sales, and provide technical support for related product sales.
• Oversee QA processes for product quality assurance.

Continuous Improvement:

• Collaborate with the geographical Manager to optimise resource efficiency and report risks.
• Lead action plans for continuous process and service improvement.
• Stay updated on external market developments and recommend new products.

Ideally You Will Have the Following

• Degree in Engineering or relevant technical field; Chartered Engineer Status preferred.
• Leadership experience, especially in energy management/consultancy.
• Expertise in energy-related legislation, services, and reporting.
• Strong stakeholder management, project management, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in MS Office; excellent communication in English, both verbal and written.

& a working knowledge of:

• Climate Change Agreements.
• Energy Audits and savings identification.
• Carbon legislation: CRC/SECR, EUETS, GHG, CDP, DECs, EPCs.
• Measurement and verification (IPMVP or equivalent).
• Water management and savings identification.
