About the role
At HL we are embarking on a major transformation that will change the way our colleagues work and enable them with modern, intuitive and connected systems. Over the next few years, with strong business sponsorship, we will incrementally deliver and make it easy for colleagues to serve our clients and collaborate.
Salesforce is already enabling major change and will form a significant part of our colleague target state architecture. In order to drive this transformation, HL is establishing a SF Practice within our Technology function.
This new group will provide thought leadership, strong business partnership and ensure implementation best practices are adopted. The Snr Software Engineering Manager role will report directly to Matt Parkes (CTO - Digital Business Optimisation) and be responsible for establishing and leading this new group.
What you'll be doing
- Playing a pivotal role in a major HL wide transformation
- Partnering closely with business leaders and teams to understand challenges/opportunities and design solutions to deliver better outcomes for our clients and colleagues
- Setting SF technical vision, strategy and governance
- Recruiting a team of talented and experienced SF professionals to establish our in-house capability
- Driving technical delivery, continuous improvement and innovation
- Partnering with SF, other vendors in the ecosystem and our trusted implementation partner to implement strategic change and maximise value
- Establish a culture that is driven by purpose and excellence and a team that is motivated to make a difference
About you
- Strong technology leadership experience within complex organisations
- Led transformative change across large organisations
- Acted as a strong partner to multiple business areas in order to deliver on key priorities with a one team mindset
- Significant experience across multiple SF implementations and led SF technology teams in a project and BAU mode
- Able to work under pressure with many competing priorities, manage ambiguity and drive for clarity and results
- Strong commercial acumen in order to manage vendors, negotiate contracts and maximise RoI
Interview process
This will be a multistage interview process.
First stage will be an informal 30-minute Teams call between yourself and Matt Parkes (CTO - Digital Business Optimisation).
Second stage will be an hour-long presentation focused interview. Third and final stage will be a competency focused behavioural interview which will also last one hour.
Working Schedule
Monday - Friday, 37.5 hours a week.
