We’re seeking a NVQ Level 4 Qualified Tester / Technician, based in London, who’s ready to help us deliver on our commitments today, plan our strategy for the future and leave their fingerprints on the organization for years to come.
The successful candidate will identify the root cause of faults across the Major Projects business, providing a senior level technical support with Otis and third-party equipment. You will also provide technical support to other Test Engineers across the business.
As a qualified technician, you will:
- Test complex multi-unit sites with highly technical interfaces such as Compass, Elevator Management System (EMS) and third-party destination control systems; this includes high speed gearless units and escalators / travellators.
- You will also provide technical support on site to other engineers for the purpose of up-skilling, audit handover and compliance and carry out client liaison during fault finding activities.
- You will assist in technical repair bids when there are special technical requirements.
Applicants must be NVQ Level 4 qualified with experience from within the lift industry as a Tester / Technician, possess electrical and mechanical engineering principles and relevant lift codes, such as EN81 Part 2, etc., a basic knowledge of cost control and computer literacy.
Whilst you must be a team player it is essential that you can also work on your own initiative. You will show us that you are hard-working and loyal, promoting and working to the required Otis Health and Safety standards at all times.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Tester or Technician who is looking to develop their career with a world renowned company.
