MLC are partnering with a nationally recognised Charity to recruit their Senior Finance Business Partner, on a 12 month fixed term contract. The organisation provides support across the UK to some of the most vulnerable in society, helping over 2 million people in the last year alone. This role will play a pivotal part in an ongoing organisation transformation, therefore we are looking for project management minded individual with a strong numeric and data background.
Reporting into the Head of FP&A, main responsibilities will include:
- Building and maintaining relationships with a variety of stakeholders across the organisation and specifically within the project team itself
- Working with the funding partners to understand their requirements and provide regular reports on the financial position of the project
- Preparing insightful financial analysis into a range of business areas, promoting cost efficiencies
- Develop and support a Finance Business Partner, ensuring delivery standards are upheld across the team.

The successful candidate will be:
- A fully qualified accountant with experience of delivering a high class Business Partnering service to a wide range of senior budget holders.
- Have excellent communication skills, with the ability to influence both internal and external stakeholders.
- Accomplished at conveying complex financial information to non-finance staff.
- Ideally experienced with donor audits and have worked within the charity sector previously.
