Senior Finance Manager

This position seeks a Senior Finance Manager with experience in people management and either technical accounting or management accounting. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in the Accounting and Finance department in our Bradford location.

Description

• Line manager of financial accounts or management accounts teams
• Formulating strategic and long-term business plans
• Ensuring company's financial reports are accurate and timely
• Developing financial management mechanisms that minimise financial risk
• Taking in active approach in the automation of financial processes
• Ensuring compliance with financial regulations and legislation
• Engaging with auditors to ensure annual monitoring is carried out

Profile

A successful Senior Finance Manager should have:

• Professional qualification such as ACA, CIMA, ACCA
• Proficient understanding of finance management principles
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
• Excellent leadership abilities
• Experience in strategic planning and risk management
• Experience, knowledge of or a keen interest in automation policies/ideas
• Strong knowledge of financial software and Excel
• Experience of SOX (desirable)
