Description
The key responsibilities of a Senior Finance Officerwill include, but may not be limited to;
- Lead the financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.
- Manage and develop a finance team, promoting a culture of high performance and continuous improvement.
- Provide strategic financial input and leadership on decision-making issues.
- Develop and implement effective financial strategies, controls, systems and procedures.
- Prepare and present regular financial reports to stakeholders.
- Oversee the audit process, liaise with external auditors and manage the implementation of audit findings.
Profile
A successful Senior Finance Officer should have:
- Not for Profit and Charities background - Education desirable.
- Ability to commute to Manchester.
- A professional accountancy qualification.
- Previous experience in a Senior Finance role within the not-for-profit sector.
