SalarySpencer Clarke Group are looking for a Senior Finance and Procurement Office to work within the NHS in Manchester!
Contract - 3 - 6 months initial contract with the view to being extended to an ongoing basis
Salary - £27.00+ per hour - negotiable dependent on experience
About the role:
- Execute day-to-day operational tasks related to procurement and financial systems, overseeing the Finance team's activities.
- Ensure adherence to the organisation's Standing Financial Instructions (SFIs) and guide budget holders on their responsibilities.
- Generate income invoices for various funding bodies promptly and manage credit control responsibilities to ensure timely payments.
- Maintain compliance with contract requirements, oversee purchase orders, and manage the processing of invoices.
- Manage and update the contracts database, monitoring financial performance against contracts, and advising on renewal requirements.
- Conduct financial analysis to support contract negotiations and ensure affordability and value for money.
About You:
- CCAB part-qualified accountant or equivalent experience in NHS finance setting.
- Proficiency in finance ledger and procurement systems.
- Experience in NHS finance and procurement management.
- Background in management accounting.
- Ability to analyse complex financial data and support projects effectively.
