Senior Financial Accountant

We are seeking a Senior Financial Accountant to join a successful business with huge growth plans over the next 3 years. Based in Andover, in this newly created Senior Financial Accountant role, you will make a real impact on the bottom line of this company while being free to make the role your own.

Reporting to the Finance Director, you will be responsible for:

• Contributing to change and transformation projects such as process and system implementation
• Reporting, in line with regulatory body guidance
• Oversight and monitoring of reporting prior to submission
• Assisting with tax compliance across the finance department
• Preparing and performing IFRS submissions
• Providing technical support to the Finance Director in relation to compliance and audit review
• Assisting in the preparation of management information
• Supporting the FD and CFO
• Contributing to the achievement of business targets and objectives relating to budget

What you will need:

• To be qualified or a finalist in ACCA or ACA
• Previous experience in a similar role, such as Senior Financial Accountant / Financial Accountant / Technical Accountant / Finance Analyst / Finance Manager / Systems Accountant / Statutory Accountant
• Practical IFRS and tax experience
• Experience in change management e.g. system implementations or process improvements
• Background in a fast-growing or private equity business would be beneficial
