SalaryWe have been engaged by a South Manchester based public sector organisation who are looking to appoint a temporary Financial Accountanton an initial 6-month contract.
The focus of the role will be supporting in the delivery of the professional accounting function, and the successful candidate must have experience in statutory accounts, reconciliations and data manipulation.
The hourly rate is either £30.79 paye or £36.12 umbrella.
Daily duties include:
Assisting in the production of company statutory accounts
Maintaining a system of quality assurance over financial processes
Producing financial information for statutory and regulatory returns
Undertaking quality checks on financial information produced my colleague
Overseeing journals and processing, including interfaces with systems
Skills, knowledge and expertise required:
Recognised accountancy qualification or strong QBE
Experience of reconciliations
Experience of manipulating large volumes of data
Preparing and submitting regulatory returns
Producing information for statutory accounts
Working pattern:
35 hours per week
Monday – Friday
9.00am – 5.00pm
Hybrid working
